What size books do the monty covers fit?
We offer two different size leather covers.
The A5 Trifold fits six interchangable A5 (14.8x21.0cms) notebooks The A6 Trifold fits four interchangable A6 (10.5x14.8cm) notebooks
Will my notebook inserts fit securely?
Yes. Our covers are designed to hold A5 or A6 notebooks securely while allowing them to be added, removed, and replaced with ease.
Can I customise my leather cover?
Yes.
All leather covers are crafted as custom orders. Customisation options are eyelet colour, and front elastic colour.
Charms also can be added as additional customisation.

Can I exchange my custom leather cover?
Due to the personalised nature of custom-made items, exchanges are not available. Please ensure all selections and details are correct before checkout.
What type of leather do you use?
We use full grain, vegetable tanned, Italian leather. Chosen for durability, flexibility, and its natural ability to develop a beautiful patina over time.
Does the leather scratch easily?
The leather chosen for the monty covers is deliberatly minimally processed to reflect its most natural state. So, yes, it will show markings or slight scuffs, which are normal and contribute to its unique character. With use, the leather will develop a rich patina and soften beautifully.
Will the colour of the leather change over time?, What is Patina?
Yes. Full grain, vegetable tanned leather naturally darkens and develops character as it ages, especially when exposed to sunlight and natural oils from your hands. This effect is called Patina, and means no to product will age the same.
What is vegetable tanned leather?
Vegetable tanned leather has been put through the tanning process using natural tannis rather then harmful chemicals.
The tannins for vegetable tanning are extracted form organic materials such as leaves, tree bark, and roots.
Oils can be used in tanning or in finishing to improve softness and flexibility.
Vegetable tanning is a slow process taking between 1 to 3 months.
How should I care for my leather cover?
We recommend keeping your leather cover away from excessive moisture or heat. If needed, you may apply a small amount of leather conditioner or balm, but know your product. Some conditioner/balms slow the patina effect and some accelerate it.
What does handcrafted mean?
All Monty covers are handcrafted, meaning the covers made 100% by manually skill rather than by machinery. Each item may have small variations making it one of a kind and creating character.
Can I return my leather cover?
Returns are accepted only if the item is defective. If you believe your cover is defective, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order with your order number, photos, and original packaging details.
How long does it take to make a custom cover?
All custom-made covers require 3–5 business days for production before shipping.
How long does shipping take?
Shipping is available within Australia only.
